This fid was designed with the splicer in mind. Compared with ordinary fids, the Point Hudson makes a smaller hole in the line, therefore a smoother, fairer splice result, with no hockles or sliced yarns. Its comfortable ball handle makes the process as easy on you as it does on the line being spliced.
