Description
Centek uses the same basic filament winding process for both Vernatube exhaust tubing and heavy duty fiberglass tubing. By winding additional layers of resin impregnated, continuous fiberglass strands in a predetermined pattern, wall thickness and strength are dramatically increased. This results in strength to weight ratios greater than conventional metal structures.
• Standard procedures for joining components of an FRP structure can be used for attaching the tubes to, or within, other FRP structures
• Held to extremely close tolerance due to mandrel winding
