The CQR has earned Lloyd's Register Approval as a High Holding Power anchor. The CQR's plow shape works well to penetrate a wide variety of seabeds including sand, pebble, mud and kelp.
This design performs well in difficult grassy or rocky bottoms.

What is the difference between Delta and CQR anchors?

The CQR closely resembles the Delta® design, but the main distinction lies in the hinge feature. This hinge enables the anchor to react more effectively to wind and tide variations than other anchor types. However, it has relatively lower holding power in comparison to the fixed Delta® design.
