Anti-Chafe Tape - White, 12" x 600 ft

When a boat is shrink wrapped, wind can cause the wrap to flutter, allowing it to rub against the boat creating very light scratches in the boat's finish. With continued exposure to wind, these scratches can produce visible damage to the paint finish.

Dr. Shrink's Anti-chafe tape is a "protection" film which is applied under the shrink wrap to critical areas where the wrap contacts boat surfaces. It provides a tough barrier which prevents marring of the boat's finish.

Anti-Chafe Tape is a tough polyethylene film with a "light tack" adhesive to hold it in place.
It is designed to leave no residue when removed.
