Description
The extremely popular ARG strainer is easily identified by its lack of tie rods and ease of maintenance. The ARG is available with either a corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel basket or, for the ultimate in corrosion resistance, a monel basket (recommended for saltwater use). Some models are available with a plastic basket.
• No tie rods or gaskets
• O-rings seal all mating surfaces
• Screw-on retainer cap allows for easy no-tools maintenance
• Bonding connection
• Mounting system with reusable strap allows removal of entire strainer without tools
• Bronze castings
• Ports are threaded internally for NPT pipe connections - 1/2" to 3" pipe sizes available
• Filter basket specifications: 0.077" diameter holes, 96 holes/in² & 45% open area
• "Ratio" in table is open filter basket area compared to pipe area
