Description
The popular SA Series strainer is reinforced with bronze outside tie rods, and a corrosion-resistant monel center tie rod. The top cap is easily removed for maintenance access by simply undoing the large bronze wingnut on the center tie rod.
Fisheries Supply offers these SA Strainers with the extremely corrosion resistant monel basket for saltwater use.
• Monel filter baskets for stronger-than-stainless steel corrosion resistance
• Stainless steel (for freshwater use) and 60 x 60 fine mesh (260 micron) baskets are available by special order
• Clear Lucite sight glass
• Easy to clean - wingnut spins off for easy access to filter basket
• Ports are threaded internally for NPT pipe connections - 1/2" to 3" pipe sizes available
• Bronze castings; drain plug for winterizing
• Monel filter baskets; 304 stainless steel baskets available by special order; inquire at 800-426-6930
• Standard filter baskets are 40 mesh and have 0.077" holes; fine mesh basket (60 mesh) is available by special order
• Filter basket specifications: 0.077" diameter holes, 96 holes/in² & 45% open area
