For extra heavy-duty service where extended periods of high-speed running dictate greater filter capacity and less restriction than standard strainers provide.
• More than twice the filtering capacity as same size ARG or SA series strainer, is provided by unique "corrugated" filter basket design
• Larger sight glass accommodates larger capacity
• Monel inside tie rod; naval bronze outside tie rods
• Clear Lucite sight glass
• O-ring seals for all joining surfaces
• Bronze wingnut spins off for easy access to filter basket
• Cover casting has spanner wrench holes for Groco SW-2531 spanner wrench
• Strainer heads threaded internally for NPT pipe connections
• Install with pipe or hose
• Monel filter baskets for stronger-than-stainless steel corrosion resistance (recommended for saltwater use)
• Filter Basket Specifications: 0.077" diameter holes, 96 holes/in² and 45% open area
