These Midrange Captive Bearing Traveler Cars have a stand-up toggle with "ears" that holds the mainsheet block upright off the deck. The toggle attaches low inside the car, so mainsheet loads as much as 40° off-angle don't impede the ball bearings from rolling freely.
The side ears are used for attaching traveler control blocks directly to the stand-up toggle, without using the available car-mounted purchase configurations. This lets you choose the exact block and sheave size you require, as well as allowing for easy modifications.
Proper choice of purchase allows easy adjustment of the car using a single line and no winch. High-strength Torlon® ball bearings run on machined, Hardkote-anodized, Teflon® impregnated races for smooth trimming and easing.
