The engineering resins utilized in these durable and lightweight head foils represent a significant improvement compared to the weaker PVC materials employed by other manufacturers. The twin headsail grooves, designed with low-friction properties, are exceptionally smooth, enabling easy and efficient hoists, douses, and headsail changes. These foils exhibit unparalleled impact resistance, resulting in minimal damage from loaded spinnaker poles, particularly in cold weather conditions.

Furthermore, the stiffness of the foils remains largely unaffected by heat. They are also UV protected and provide excellent visibility for the trimmer. Installing them with the mast up is a breeze - simply uncoil the foil and snap it onto the stay. To prevent spinnaker sheets from causing any harm during high-speed jibes, an aluminum chafe guard is included. Remarkably, this guard weighs the same as aramid fiber or composite materials and is resistant to wear, unlike UHMW plastic tape which tends to deteriorate quickly. As an added bonus, a complimentary Harken chafe guard is included with the purchase of a 7000 or 7001 kit.
