A firm body flexible kernmantle (double braid) construction designed to meet the demands of rescue rappelling and specialty rigging operations.
• Meets or exceeds NFPA 1983 standards
• Kernmantle construction: polyester cover over bundled nylon core
• Good UV performance
• Good shock mitigation
• Maintains firm round shape
• Class I non-spliceable
• SWL will depend on application and conditions; for life lines the tensile strength is typically divided by a safety factor of 10 to 15 to determine a starting value for SWL, which should then be adjusted according to conditions
