316SS GBS Trunnion-Style Hose Clamp - 2-3/16 - 2-5/16" Hose OD

These 316 stainless ABA GBS trunnion-style hose clamps supersede the 316 stainless AWAB hose clamps Fisheries has carried.
ABA owns and manufactures both the ABA and the AWAB hose clamp brands in the same factory. They are identical in every way.

These GBS clamps are all 316 stainless steel hose clamps designed with a trunnion mechanism for extreme clamping force. They are ideal for use with hard, high durometer hoses, multi-wire hoses, and high pressure lines.

A heavy formed bridge allows the clamp to provide even clamping force throughout its size range.
The solid bolt and trunnion do not rely on a nylock nut to keep from loosening and are therefore the right choice for exhaust systems and other heat related applications where expansion and contraction occurs.
A mechanical band interlock eliminates spot welds that can corrode.

Heavy on the technical side...
Alloy 316 Stainless Steel is an exceptionally corrosion resistant stainless steel alloy with properties that make it ideal for use in corrosive environments.

Most other 300-series stainless alloys are just Chrome-Nickel alloys, but 316 has 3% Molybdenum added. This added alloying element increases its resistance to crevice corrosion and stress-cracking corrosion, and reduces its ability to be magnetized.

316 stainless is an ideal material for marine, chemical, wastewater, and other harsh environments. The higher cost of the material is more than offset by significantly longer service life and a negligible failure rate.
