Description
The Grip Release allows the line with the hook to separate from the line with the weight when a fish bites, so you can use the rod to retrieve just the fish, and not the weight also.
The snap hook is on the weight side, and the fishing line is gripped between the soft yellow pads. Variable release tension is attained by moving the line in or out of the jaws.
