Supersize Shoreline Reel, Left Hand for 1" Railing

Ideal for those anchoring situations where you can't afford to have your stern swing freely with wind or current — small coves, anchoring near obstructions, or where the anchor is sensitive to the direction of pull.

The ShoreLine Reel provides a simple convenient way to have a stern tie readily available for instant deployment, yet conveniently stowed when not in use. There are 3 sizes: The "Compact" version will hold 400 ft of 3/8" line. The "Large" version will hold 600 ft of 3/8" or 400 ft of 1/2" line. The "Supersize" version will hold 600 ft of either 3/8" or 1/2" line.

Line can be paid out or retrieved from the ShoreLine's free-running reel using the attached crank or, for greater control, the wheel itself.
Just pull the line off the reel and lead it around a suitable tree or rock on shore, and loop it back to the boat.
When you're ready to leave the anchorage, just untie the line and reel it in.

The Compact models of the ShoreLine Reel hold up to 400 ft of 3/8" floating line (user supplied) for an effective length of 200 feet.
Crank left or right handedness is determined when standing at the stern of the boat facing aft, and with the reel outboard of the railing.
Examples:
If you want to crank the reel with your right hand, with the reel mounted so it hangs outboard of the stern railing - purchase a "right-hand" drive unit.
If you want to crank the reel with your right hand, with the reel mounted so it hangs inboard of the stern railing - purchase a "left-hand" drive unit.
