No tune-up is complete without replacing the distributor cap, since the old one may have developed microscopic cracks that become electrical pathways at high voltages.
Sierra uses a special composition material that retains high dielectric strength under elevated temperatures, and brass inserts to eliminate the formation of aluminum oxide.
