Sikasil GP Silicone Sealant - Black, 10 oz

SikaSil-GP® is a general purpose, non-sag, elastic, 100% RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanizing) moisture-cure, silicone sealant.

Note: This is a "traditional" acetoxy cure (smells like vinegar) silicone sealant. It cures a little faster than neutral cure silicone sealants, but its acidic curing can be corrosive to brass and copper, and cause discoloration in natural stone. When curing, its vapors can damage nearby sensitive electronics.
Less weather resistant than neutral cure silicone sealants.

• As with most silicones, Sikasil GP can be used in high temperature environments. It maintains elastomeric properties up to 450°F continuous/500°F intermittent. A "high temperature" red-colored version is rated to 500°F continuous/550°F intermittent - available by special order
