Dorade Style Drain Box For ASV and SSVL Type 90 Air Vents

These plastic baffles/drain boxes capture spray and rain that would normally enter the engine room through the external air suction vents and drain it back to the outside.
They are sized according to the size vent they fit. The model numbers listed in the table correspond to the engine horsepower for which they are appropriate. Consequently, when planning the layout of the engine room, it becomes straightforward to determine the necessary size of the air vents. Additionally, it is important to account for extra vents to remove heat from the engine area.

Example: A boat with an engine of 60 hp will require for the combustion and ventilation air, two louvred air suction vents "Type 60" (1 x Starboard + 1 x Port) or four "Type 30" vents (2 x Starboard + 2 x Port).
