Description
Weld Mount's floating plate nut is designed to be adhered to a surface for through-hole mounting applications. The orange rubber fixture holds the part in the through-hole while the nut is bonded in place with Weld Mount acrylic adhesive.
The fixture keeps the threads clean during bonding. Remove the rubber fixture when you are ready to make up the assembly.
The threaded nut "floats" (moves slightly within its bracket) allowing accurate bolt alignment. Use for all types of mounting applications.
