Fuel Limit Vent Valve 90° - Single 5/8" Barb - 1.56" QC Dim

An improved method for managing fuel levels and tank pressure under all weather conditions.

This product employs the most straightforward yet innovative engineering solutions available for refueling and fuel capacity management, specifically tailored for marine fuel tanks and designed to be a crucial component of any comprehensive EPA/CARB compliant system.

System Refueling
A vapor (or Ulage) space must be produced at the completion of the filling or refueling operation to ensure systems remain EPA compliant during the diurnal temperature cycle. To effectively manage this system function, Whitecap has developed valves that mount directly to any marine fuel tank to achieve the pertinent fill level while maintaining ullage space of ~5%. Additionally these valves regulate refueling "spit-back" or tank "well-back", which is a requirement of EPA regulations. Whitecap valves replace the existing fill and vent locations, while additional grade level valves can be added to any tank to meet American Boat & Yacht Council standards (H-24) which allows vapor venting for boats slanting or sloping when stored, moored, parked or trailered.
